PW Women (Sarah Circle)

Presbyterian Women (PW) understands that scripture asks us to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.  All PW activities center on the PW Purpose. Everything they do as an organization and as a community is guided by the PW Purpose which includes ministry, resources and relationships.  “Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:

• to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

• to support the mission of the church worldwide,

• to work for justice and peace, and

• to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the PC(USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.”

 

Our group consists of about 15 women who meet the first Thursday of each month in the church fellowship hall.  We begin every meeting with prayer and devotion. We then conduct the PW business meeting and end it with Bible Study.  We go out to eat after each meeting at local restaurants to enjoy fellowship and good food. We pray you can join us!
